- Over twenty-five years ago, DNP was one of the first companies to pioneer thermal transfer ribbon technology and the oldest company to start business development in thermal transfer ribbon technology. DNP’s Information Media Supply (IMS) division has since grown to be the world’s largest manufacturer of thermal transfer ribbons for bar code and dye-sublimation printers.
